I just scrolled through the 400 coins listed on GC from your collection and bid on a few. Some amazing coins.
I am curious roughly what percentage of those were submitted raw over the years or were most purchased in slabs?

@winesteven Hi Steve. All 6,700 coins are marked SOLD at both PCGS and MyCollect. None of the coins/sets are listed at CAC. Winning bidders should be able to easily add their coins to their own sets after successful bids. And thanks for asking! Kind regards, George
Most of them were slabbed purchases. Thanks for the nice compliment and the bids! Kind regards, George

I had always thought Terry might be interested in my toned proof IHC set (Paha Sapa Indians) . Terry does have some top notch coins that have yet to appear in the first 400. I will be looking for them. I hope terry is doing well. I am rather surprised about this sale as he seemed to be very involved in collecting great toned coins.
OINK
Terry is doing fine, thanks!
.
That’s great! Thank you! 😊

Proof and Mint State Lincoln Cents, Jefferson Nickels (Full Steps and non-FS), and Classic Commemoratives are among the complete PCGS Registry Sets that GreatCollections.com will offer separately from the Terry's Toners Collection in coming weeks and months.
Here's a link to the retired Terry's Toners sets. It's pretty eye-opening! Worth a good exploration. Note, just for one example, his #1-rated Lincoln Cent, Mirror Proofs collection (1936-present), which even surpasses the D.L. Hansen set in the #2 spot.

At more than 6,700 coins, the Terry's Toners Collection of U.S. coins smashed the record for Great Collections' largest single consignment ever. This page highlights one of the many memorable coins which will be offered at GreatCollections.com at the rate of 100 coins per week beginning with the first four auctions closing September 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. To find all coins in current GC auctions, just go to the homepage and enter Terry's Toners in the Search box. #toner #terrystoners
EDIT: Ignore the question I posted here, as the first weekly lots won’t end until 9/7. That’s good!

Hi again @fluffy155, I have had a chance to do a more extensive search through the inventory and found a few more Bust and Seated coins. I don't know yet when these will come up for sale but I'll try to keep a mental note to let you know. These are the ones with PCGS Trueviews, and there are a few others besides:
1829 Capped Bust Dime PCGS MS-64+
1875-CC Twenty Cent MS-64 PCGS
1845 Seated Quarter PCGS AU-53
1867 Seated Quarter PCGS Proof-64
1875 Seated Half PCGS XF-45
1856-O Seated Half PCGS VF-35
1829 Capped Bust Dime Small 10c PCGS VF-25
I hope this helps! You could also set Watch Lists for any or all of these coins, or more general search terms like Capped Bust, Seated, etc. at GreatCollections.com as a backup to make sure you get alerted when they come up (I'm not getting any younger!).
Kind regards,
George

I am using Trueviews only because GC has not yet photographed all 6,700 coins in the collection (go figure), so these may or may not be color-accurate.

1936 Lincoln Cent Satin Proof-63 BN PCGS, Ex: John Whitney Walter
Currently at auction at GreatCollections.com as part of the Terry's Toners Collection, this 1936 Satin Proof-63 Brown cent was formerly in the collection of John Whitney Walter (who also sometimes just went by the name John Whitney), who is widely known as "Mr. 1796." Of course the year 1796 was among the most significant in early Mint history, and it offers more than its fair share of elusive issues and first-year coins, such as the 1796 half dollars (two varieties), the 1796 No Pole and With Pole half cents, the 1796 No Stars and With Stars gold quarter eagles, and many others. John Whitney Walter's incredible collection of top-grade 1796 coinage was auctioned at Stack's in May 1999.

There are dozens of toned Lincoln cents with the Wheat and Lincoln Memorial reverses in the Terry's Toners Collection up for auction at GreatCollections.com in Mint State and Proof grades from MS64-Proof-64 to MS68-Proof-68 with mostly BN and RB color designations, ending on Sept. 14, 21, and 28th! The PR68RB cent here, PCGS Pop 2/2, is just one example. There are also a smattering of ANACS and NGC coins as well as lots of toners of other denominations.

Sole Finest 1949-S Franklin Half PCGS MS-68 (CAC Green) (Toned) up for auction at GreatCollections.com ending Sept. 21, item #1893760. This was the sole finest example in MS-68 PCGS and that service's Plate Coin (with or without Full Bell Lines) at the time it was offered by Heritage auctions in December 2023, where it brought $7,800 including buyer's premium. The current Greysheet CPG retail price is $9,500 and Bid is $7,800. CAC reports two in MS-68, but the other NGC/CAC example is clearly the same coin, now crossed into a PCGS holder.
Two hours later: Actually I just discovered that this is one of only two Franklin halves in PCGS MS-68, the other being a 1948 in PCGS MS-68FBL.
Sole Finest 1960-D Small Date Lincoln Memorial Cent PCGS MS-66+ BN (Toned), Pop 1/0
Closing Sept. 28 at GreatCollections.com. This "greenie" shows the green hues more prominently in the PCGS Trueview around the reverse rim.
