Submitting coins for grading at the World's Fair of Money Show

in Q & A Forum
I'd like to submit a few coins to PCGS for grading at the WFM show next week. These would be normal submissions (not "show" submissions), with the graded coins sent back to me after the show.
When I hand in the form and coins at the PCGS table, will they take my credit card for payment at that time? I hope so, because I don't like writing my credit card number on a form.

I cannot answer your question. Hopefully, someone else will. Alternatively, you could contact CS, and inquire.
IF you do not get an answer prior to the show, you might consider:
1) placing your cc info "on file" at with PCGS by calling accounting at 949-567-1152. Reference If you do this, you SHOULD be able to 'check' the "CCOF" box on the submission form, as opposed to entering your entire account number.
Note - as I understand it, having your cc info "on file" for membership does NOT automatically make it "on file" for payment purposes. IOW, if you want to have your cc info "on file" for payment purposes, you have to contact accounting.
2) assuming there are no "Guarantee Premiums" involved, you could always pay with a check.
Yes, on the bottom of the form they will collect your CC info. I don't think you can avoid this. I have never had an issue. One of the best ways to tell me they are done with my grades and are getting ready to ship is a get a bank notification on the grading charge, they don't charge you until then. Usually PCGS notifies within a few hours after the bank.

Thank you. I guess I’ll leave that section blank for now, take a blank check and CC with me, then fill it out as needed at the show. Appreciate the advice.
If you fill out the submission forms via the Online Submission Center (https://www.pcgs.com/submissions) and print them out to bring with you, only the last 4 of the CC number will be included. And then you just hand it over, it's super easy and saves time and hassle at the show.

Thanks. Just took a quick look at the online tool. The paper forms separate submissions by U.S. and world, but it looks like the online tool separates by raw and slabbed.
Will take a closer look over the weekend.
