1893-S and 1879-CC Morgan Silver Dollars for Auction

My husband and I recently inherited a coin collection, and in going through it, we discovered two Morgan silver dollars that we’ve since consigned to the Stack's Bowers Summer 2025 Global Showcase Auction.
They’ll be part of Session 10: U.S. Coins Part 2 – Silver Dollars to End (Lots 6001–6738)
Live bidding begins August 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM PDT.
The two coins are:
1893-S Morgan Dollar (EF45) – Lot 6107
1879-CC Morgan Dollar (AU53) – Lot 6045
These coins previously belonged to a beloved Uncle, the late actor Jim Baker, a respected Montana-born stage veteran whose career spanned five decades—from portraying Shakespeare’s Falstaff to roles in Steinbeck classics. Known as "the real deal" and "a genuine force of nature" among his peers, Baker carried a quiet passion for performance that came straight “from his heart and soul.”

The proceeds from this auction will go toward something we never thought possible—making a down payment on our first home. We feel incredibly grateful that a piece of family history is helping us take such an important step in our lives.

The 1893-S is a dream coin for many collectors in any grade. Very important US coin congrats!!!
Good luck with the sale and your new home!!! PCGS lists these 2 coins (together) at around 25 000$ (all depends on eye appeal some present better than others....like all coins in any grades).
