Cheerios

in Q & A Forum
I currently have a Cheerios dollar and penny being graded. It’s in the encapsulation phase. I sent it in the original (never opened) sealed package. My wife found it several weeks ago in the back of a drawer whiled we were remodeling our kitchen. Probably there for 25 years. What should I be looking for when I get them back?

They will be removed from the sealed packs and each encapsulated.
Look at the grade, the higher the grade, the more valuable the coin.
Of course, not all dollar coins that came out of the cereal boxes are the valuable variety, but most were so hopefully/presumably you're OK.
Received grade values from PCGS: 2000-P SAC$1 Cheerios Prototype Reverse MS68 and penny is MS66 RD. Not to shabby. Now what? Keep it for Grandkids? Sell with auction house? Sell on eBay? Lots to consider.
Nice grades. If you don't need the money,, then I would keep them.
What you do with them now is up to you but with a grade of MS68, it could be worth close to $10,000.
Congrats!
Congrats @pagel1rc! Post pictures here when you get it back.
