Hey, no problem, I don't think they need Mariucci to win. They have all the tools of offense and a good, young defense to win. I just don't see them winning on the road in the playoffs, especially if they have to go through Tampa Bay or Green Bay. They definitely can make it though, I really like em.

although that REALLY depends on their new coach... look at the Bucs... they were good but not quite good
enough to make it that far (same as 49ers)... the ol' Chucky came along and

they're UNSTOPPABLE.......

I think the Chiefs will definately be better than 7-9. If they wouldn´t have had as many injury problems this last season, they´d have made the playoffs already this year, but I´m sure they´ll be in next year. And if Priest Holmes keeps playing the way he did last year, he´ll be MVP next season.
But I guess it´s kind a hard to convince a Broncos fan to pick the Chiefs over the Broncos

Ok, first of all, Chiefs have NO defense and will not win more then 10 games. Yeah, sure, they can score 30+ points, but whats the difference when they give up 40+ points? Plus, no way San Diego has more talent then the Broncos. The Broncos will win 10 games next year, have you guys seen their opponents? Plus, St. Louis will more then likely not have Warner back and I don't see him doing too much next year. I don't see them going 13-3 next year and San Francisco will be doing good, they have a solid team.
Also, Broncos are looking into signing Jake Plummer, who would be a much, much better QB then Griese was, so that will help out the team too.

Is there a good defense in the AFC??? Doubt it! Let the real football be played in the
NFC! Saints and Rams will be back add them to Philly, the Gaints, Puckers, Falcons, and Bucs
and you got a heck of a season. I say we play a game and try to guess which
AFC team will choke the hardest down the stretch! Ok Ill give odds:

Fish 3-1
Patsies 4-1
Ponies 4-1
Brownies 5-1
Squeelers 6-1
Jets 8-1
Chargers 10-1

How about 50 bucks to open? We can do the same with "excuses why we didn't make the playoffs" too

The AFC is the real conference, with more competition then the NFC. As for defenses, the AFC had some of the top. And if you disagree about NFC being more dominant, then which conference has won 4 of the past 6 Super Bowls? Bucs really don't have an offense, I mean, the offense scored 27 points and a lot of those were helped out by the defense.

LOL I guess you missed the super bowl huh?? The bucs killed the Raider ON OFFENSE
on the first drive of the second half.....a 7 and a half minute drive resulting in a touchdown!

We played the first half of the season with NO offense...now we are clicking..how
freaking scary is that?? How many games did we lose by more than 10 points???

As far as the AFC defensive numbers....if I played the Bengals, Bills & Texans every week my
defensive numbers would look good too! Come on, every game is like 40-38 or 52-41...You
guys hold a team to 24 points and you call it a shutout!

Dude, several interceptions set up short fields for the Bucs to score on. Thats how they scored so many points. As for playing the Bengals, Texans, and Bills every week, where do you get your information? Your a moron. Geez, Broncos lost only 2 games by 10+ points last year while playing the 2nd toughest schedule in the NFL and who played the toughest? The Oakland Raiders. Oh, and I guess the Broncos would have a top defense playing the Panthers, Bears, Lions, Redskins, Cowboys, Cardinals, geez, should I go on?

With parcells, hopefully a new offense will come. Antonio Bryant, and Joey Galloway ( at least one more year joey ) should be better. And hopefully T - Ham will start, no disrespect to the old geezer but he just doesn't have it anymore, didn't even catch a thousand.

the bills will be better than 8-8, i do know that if you dont know a team its hard to make predictions..the bills are WELL under the cap and they are going to have a star studded defense.

lol and those obviously are just personal picks, lol you picking Denver to be on top, your probably one of the only people predicting that, the Broncos stumble every year..

Ok, Portis will have a sophmore slump? Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, Edgerrin James, Ladainian Tomlinson mean anything to you? Probably not, all you can see how "great" the Bucs are. The Defense only allowed about 85 yards a game through the ground, guess you didn't see the stats as again, you were to busy looking how "great" the Bucs are. The defense will only get better with a good pass rusher. No QB thing again? Well, I think some people were saying that about Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Kerry Collins. Jake Plummer will do good in Denver's scheme.

what does everyone think about the giants next year?

collins had a career year and threw for 4000 yards, they got hilliard coming back who even after he went down, their offense didn't miss a beat, shockey can only get better, toomer really proved he is a good #1 wide reciever, barber played phenomenally, and the young o line surprised a lot of people

allen and peterson are improving as 2 great cornerbacks in their 2nd year, and their linebackering corps are probably in the top 5 in the nfc

now i think all they need is maybe to use their first round pick on an offensive lineman, get a safety second round, and then focus on improving their defensive speed with other picks as well as signing some free agents

they could of been possibly a super bowl contender last year even though nobody gave them any credit to go higher than 6-10...now i don't think anyone could of beaten the bucs after they got hot but i think the giants have a good shot next year

as seen in the 49ers game where a blown call and a defensive 4th quarter let down forced them to get an early exit from the playoffs, there are 2 huge problems haunting this team

1 - they can't snap the ball or hold the ball on field goals, they had signed a long snapper from notre dame mid-season to solve the problem, who played great but he got hurt before the 49ers game so they had to sign a 19 year veteran who has not seen action for 2 years

2- they lack defensive depth, the 49ers just made them look like fools, by scoring on 4 consecutive drives flawlessly, even though garcia went no huddle half the time, even when they got subs in, the subs were just totally outmactched, and san francisco just ran all over them

if they improve on these two areas they i think they WILL be a contender for at least the nfc championship next season

also if they get a decent 6-5 wide reciever in the 3rd or 4th round that wouldn't hurt

Giants win it all ...why cause you can`t stop shockey and Huge douglas is a free agent,Giants will sign him and line him up on the other side of michael strahan who`s going to stop them ,warren sapp is fat ,rams everybody figured out ,eagel can`t play there way out of a shoe box,49er`s Ha,pittsburgh should`ve, could`ve, would`ve. and we called time out ,tennesee needs a running game.well i know who i`m rooting for..

Man I thought someone would bring something real but I guess not!

The Gaints are weak. Kerry Collins is a one season wonder and that season is long
past! Shockey has a bullseye on his back and won't last three weeks in the NFC.
Defense......what defense.

PS: Ohhh note to all those who still think that Sapp is all of the Bucs defense........guess again! We
were the best WITHOUT Booger McFarland...what will we be when we get him back??? Will
anyone score on us?? Can your field goal kickers kick it 60 yards?? You better hope so!

AFC East.......Who will choke the hardest? Fish are my pick, followed closely by the
Patsies and then the Jets. Well at least the Fish have a defense but Jay Feidler WILL
NOT get it done!

Portis will choke. Put money on it! There is a reason why Gary, TD, and Anderson didn't last
for the long haul! Bronco fans know why they just don't want to say!

OK right now, Im not fearing ANYONE in the AFC and perhaps mildly concerned about a few
teams in the NFC, mainly in our own division! Funny no one mentions Duece and Vick in the
catagory of "sophmore-slump defiers!!"

BUCS RULE IT ALL

I don't know Jman, how can you think that Plummer will step in and take the Broncos to the Superbowl? Portis is a great back, and I think he will have a good season, the Broncos won't be terrible, Shanahan is too good a coach, but to say that Plummer will step in and take the team all the way is just being too unrealistic. But then everyone says there team will go to the Superbowl at the beginning of the year, right? Hey the Vikes will do it this year,
