I tried to inquire about this coin last week when it was listed. This sellers PM is blocked because of "This user's profile is private." After a couple of posts letting him/her know, and being told it was now unblocked, it remained blocked and still is today. I'm not sure why this seller is wasting his/her time and ours. This will be the last post of his/hers that I will even open.
Caveat emptor
Same ole, same ole for at least the last few years!
The lights are on but no one's home. Buh bye.

@MWallace you can still PM a member who's profile is private. If you select "New massage" from the messages dropdown at the top you can manually type in the member's name.

Collector, occasional seller
I'm not certain I would want to select "New massage"!

FYI. I did manage to purchase from him one time a few years ago. It took work but everything went fine. I did e-mail him last week about a different coin, no response.
I'm actually glad I didn't know that in this case.
Seller feedback.
On July 23,2025 I purchased a 1921 VAM Morgan from member, silverpop.
The fine slabbed item arrived today, 8-4-25,by mail with tracking number.
I realize that there was another thread started on another category in this forum claiming that this person's account had been hacked, soon after I made the purchase. Also some negative comments thrown in.
For my subject transaction, I remitted a personal check. The seller mailed the item not waiting for a typical 1-2 weeks for a check to clear.
I did include a recent forum coin purchase reference with my 'intent to purchase' email to silverpop.
He immediately acknowledged my intent to purchase and cancelled the associated BST ad as 'sold'..
A week after mailing the check, I proactively emailed to inquire whether the check was delivered in what should have been 2 days earlier. He responded with the tracking number of the item that already had been shipped!!
It is apparent to me that this gentleman is not a dealer nor an active/practiced coin seller.
It is apparent to me that ,although he may appear to be 'unorthodox' in relation to the basic status quo of coin dealer, ebayer and 'fine tuned' seller methodologies on this forum, the fact remains that he turned out to be a straight shooter and offers up some reasonable coin offers.
I bothered to purchase this slabbed VAM Morgan only because it was reasonably priced and now I can pair it with the only other VAM Morgan I own (raw), so that after I croak in future times, my nephew can relate to something slabbed as VAM to understand and perhaps get more interested in coins. So I appreciate silverpop's making this coin available !!
Thanks again silverpop !!
