New pickup, 1797 Mo FM PCGS AU58

Had been watching this coin at Heritage for quite some time but was concerned with the TruView image and the Heritage image. The more I looked at it, I realized the case had scratches on it, which reflected the light, making it appear that they were new scratches on the coin itself. Also felt that TruView image was “washed out” when compared to the Heritage. Made a minimal bid, and was surprised I won. Long story short, was able to buff out the scratches. Coin is nicely toned, not too dark at all. Fits in perfectly with my set, and has a reverse die clash to boot! Kind of a cherry pick but I will have the same problems when it comes time to sell, with the washed out TruView.

That's a solid piece, typical drapery weakness but nice look overall. Looking at your set it fits in great!

TruView isn't great but not terrible, at least it isn't neon yellow.

Nice coin!!! I now refuse to bid on a PCGS coin unless the true view is accompanied with an actual slab shot. Thankfully Heritages pics are always pretty true to the coin.
