Musician Chuck Mangione also passed today.

Me thinks Rick Flair is not going to be around much longer.

A high school classmate of mine passed on July 10, 2025 at age 69. I saw her at our 50 year high school reunion held last fall.

    Makes me appreciate each day.

As for Hulk Hogan, one of my favorite memories of him was him playing wrestler Thunderlips in Rocky III. He convincingly portrayed a psycho during his match with Rocky, then when the match was over he was friendly, normal and glad to take a group photo with Rocky and his family.

    RIP Brotha!!!!!

I saw where Rick Flair posted this very nice tribute:

"I Am Absolutely Shocked To Hear About The Passing Of My Close Friend @HulkHogan!
Hulk Has Been By My Side Since We Started In The Wrestling Business. An Incredible Athlete, Talent, Friend, And Father! Our Friendship Has Meant The World To Me. He Was Always There For Me Even When I Didn’t Ask For Him To Be. He Was One Of The First To Visit Me When I Was In The Hospital With A 2% Chance Of Living, And He Prayed By My Bedside. Hulk Also Lent Me Money When Reid Was Sick. Hulkster, No One Will Ever Compare To You! Rest In Peace My Friend!"

It has indeed been a very bad week, I grew up watching Theo on the Cosby show, listening to Ozzy, and watching Hogan wrestle. Someone over on the card forum said it best, I feel like my childhood has been decimated this week.

At WWE Backlash, 2002, Triple H was standing on the ring apron spitting his water during his entrance and Hogan was standing in the ring behind him waiting, and one of the greatest shots in wrestling history was captured. Hogan would defeat Triple H that night and win the WWE Championship for the last time in his career.
