autograph football

I have an autographed foot ball from 1993 Badgers vs Northwestern (53 to 14). It is signed by Barry Alvarez and the rest of the coaching staff. The game was played on Oct 9th 1993, but the football is marked Sept 9th 1993. Every thing I checked says that this game was indeed played on Oct. 9th and not Sept. 9th. I know the autographs are worth something but I didn't know about a mislabeled ball. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank Dan

Marked as in pen, or printed? Anyone who could possibly have interest in this (Badgers fan) I can't imagine would care about the date (let alone figuring out the incorrectness of it) of a random blowout game. Were there any other now big name coaches on his staff on that ball?
Yes it was in ink (marker) and it does have Brad Childress (Minn. Vikings) signature as well.
Hope these pics help
I’m not sure what the question is. Mislabeled ball being worth money? I expect it would be worth less. These balls were all over places like seven mile fair or game day vendors in Madison. Maybe $30-$50 would be my guess as to what it’s worth.
^ I'll say $15-20
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
What I think is interesting, but maybe less to the OP, is sometimes the idea that something is signed or game-used does not add much value to the item or quite the opposite.
Hey here is an NFL football signed by John Friesz. He had a brief time where was a serviceable QB. Had some solid game. Its his official signature on a licensed NFL football.
Will you take $50?
Well...okay.
Here son, you wanted a football. But this one has magic marker on it.
Eh, just play with it in the rain and the mud. You wont notice once you start using it. Besides the one you wanted is $100. Got this for 50.
I really appreciated Chris Tillman and Brad Penny as players. Think I bought their game-worn signed jerseys for 100 and 150 dollars. If I went to MLBstore.com to get an authentic jersey (unsigned) with their name and number the price is probably $279 each. I mean they were both probably 7 inches taller than me so would not look great on me. But was thinking man I love that Diamondbacks Serpientes jersey. Maybe I should just wait until some bench utility infielder has his go up for sale on eBay and get 40% off.
I loved Wisconsin 90s football. Ron Dayne was a guy I loved to watch. But maybe pump it full of air and throw it around with family and friends.
Almost anyone who ever participated in a game and signed an item has a fan, relative, sports bar, church.....virtually anytime, anyplace at all a signed item might find its match. A person who just wants to remember with the addition of an object that gets them a little closer to that. The football described here just needs to find its match. Might never happen. But always worth a try.
