Please need some advice on possible new mint error on state quarter

Okay so this the very first time I've ever seen a Wisconsin state quarter with a second full ear of corn. What should I my next step be on this? NO HATE TALK OR DOWNING MY QUESTION. I would like honest answers with out being a jerk

If you mean the depression next to the ear of corn then, in my opinion, it appears that there might have been some grease in the die when the planchet was struck, so it is likely at least some folks would call it a grease-filled die. In my experience these are not valuable with artifacts like you share. Of course, others may disagree and you are free to ignore my advice. Good luck!

I agree with TomB, an error, but a very minor one.
Struck thru grease, and the area even extends under the mouth of the cow. Not worth grading, but stick it in a flip and keep it. Appears to be fairly high grade (ms65).
Odd looking design regardless.

Then don't be a jerk.
Not a corn stalk. Pareidolia.
Maybe struck through grease although it is extensive.
struck thru something
I agree my camera isn't the best for this kind of picture. I do have a few more of it i could post if you like. Thank you all for your thoughts and comments.

no need for more pictures
struck through grease
this type of error isn't rare. so only the really wild ones are of interest to serious error collectors
Agree, but it does look like a vegetable stalk.
Probably wouldn't if it was on a Kennedy half.
Struck thru grease then may have taken a hit (PMD) from something.

It is a struck through (probably grease) error. It is not an extra corn stalk. As someone else has already stated, stick it in a flip and keep it.
As others have said... struck through grease and little or no extra value as that is common. But... the geometric patterned upper area does hint at perhaps something else may have also happened, though I have no idea what. Thanks for sharing the photos of the coin.
Actually, it would look the same on any coin. Obviously, it would take more imagination to see because of the reverse design a Kennedy half dollar.
Nice color.
Play a little more with the photos such as a reverse flip, a negative view...
Cut outs help, but keep in mind you must match each image of what your seeing.
I think your on to something just keep an open mind and explore.
Book um Dano.
I have something like that showing that goldish looking color.
Well I'm not going to open a new thread about this color of toning because you may need some

solid facts to start with. One side.
First photo as seen in hand with direct lighting from camera ONLY.
Second photo,
I did not add any kind of special hue's for my liking or your's. OTHER THAN, I mooned it.
I just let the app. loose on it's own way of enhancing the metal's skin. Really cool when it works out like this one did.
.
Except your brain wouldn't turn the random geometric shape into a "vegetable stalk".
So only the in shape brain cells, are able to view, geometrically, a geometric stalk,"knee high, before the Fourth of July? Eureka !
Then as for the weak brain cells, make lemon aid or pop corn, because you can't see them ?
That's why we have LIVE AID !
I don't think a member of your stature should bother to change a serious discussion to help a less knowledgeable NEW MEMBER into something else.
BTW Professor, I will not be around for the next week to banter with you as I will be teaching Reserve Officers during a training exercise in CA.
I took his comment to be serious and I think it made perfect sense.

I am serious.
It's time for me to take another break. People pick fights over the simplest comment and then call me argumentative.
I don’t think he was picking a fight, but that he misunderstood your comment.

It's too bad...you make cogent and informed points. That particular poster drives me absolutely bonkers and has caused me to post less often. I get it. I hope you stick around or feel refreshed after a break.

No we don’t.
Now scold me and call me a scold...
Exactly... but he won't get it.
"I don't think a member of your stature should bother to change a serious discussion to help a less knowledgeable NEW MEMBER into something else."
It was never a "serious discussion" from the very beginning. The OP opened the thread with this statement...
"Okay so this the very first time I've ever seen a Wisconsin state quarter with a second full ear of corn."
