Is double-boxing cards to be graded a bad idea?

I have a couple local spots that do drop offs for cards, but saw on ebay that they have bad reviews for their card shops, for poor shipping, so just gonna do it myself.

Want to be extra careful, since a couple of the cards are expensive, and was gonna get it all setup, and in one box. Then bubble wrap that box, and put into another.

Is that too much? Or annoying for the graders, and will be like pissed off. Ha. Don't need them mad going into grading ahead of time, ya know.

    The grader won't be the one opening the package so no problem there. I've received orders back from PSA that were in a box inside a box with packing material. Better safe than sorry.

    I've heard some people going as far as putting another shipping label on the inner box in the event the outer box gets destroyed, then the contents don't go to USPS heaven.

    Don’t think Ive ever submitted NOT double boxed… it just makes me feel better… there are some world class box smashers around, and I just want a fair chance going into the challenge.

    The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one.
