Canada & provincial coins - Part II is going to Great Collections

Update as of July 2026:
The coins that were being held are on hold no longer as the collector decided not to proceed beyond the coins already purchased. About half of the Great Collections consignment sold and the remainder are languishing there with an already-reduced price. Eventually I will retrieve them and then they will go to Heritage. Round two, consisting mainly of Canadian fifty cents (Edward VII, George V & George VI) and a Newfoundland half are being delivered to Great Collections at the FUN Show next week.
Many thanks to the collector who was doing the holds for his purchases and to anyone here who purchased a coin via Great Collections. I was able to raise sufficient funds to purchase some much-needed camera gear. Tariffs jacked up the cost of the zoom lens, that I was originally wanting to buy, beyond the realm of affordability so I went in a satisfactory different direction. Thanks a lot President Trump - all due sarcasm intended....

Bump with an availability update.
My last post on this was last October so it's been a while but I thought I'd give an update. Round one of the Great Collections auction is wrapping up with all but four pieces being sold. I was going to drop off round two at FUN last January but I didn't make it then so took care of that business at the Summer FUN show on Friday.
Here's round two, which should be appearing on Great Collections in about a month's time. This might be of interest to anyone who is collecting Canadian and Newfoundland fifty centers, and there are a few minors as well (and a lone Kennedy proof half dollar to round things out).
Also, I'll be selling off the remainder of my raw Canadian collection to a Canadian dealer in a couple of weeks but I thought I'd mention it here in case anyone needs to fill some holes in their collection. The raw coins are mainly five cent silvers (a near-complete set) and Victorian quarters, a set which is only missing three semi-keys. Also there are a fair number of nickel five cents as well, mainly George V & VI. I'm not going to list these coins here but if anyone needs anything to fill an album hole they can shoot me a message. If it's a five cent silver chances are I have it. I'm going to take a big hit on these going the dealer route so I'll be open to negotiation up until they change hands.
Also, I'd like to thank anyone here who may have happened to purchase one of my coins from round one. It took months for some of them to move but move they did, well most of them anyway.
