Autographed Michael Jordan rookie card sells for $2.5 million

    wasnt that jordan one of the lot of 6 that were signed last year? guy paid up big time for jordan to sign those. the unfortunate thing is that he paid all that money and had jordan use a sharpie. ughhh. he should have used a finer tipped staedler. would have looked sooooo much better.

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    Gotta be Joopiter marketing campaign or just a random rich person that doesn't really know the market but understands the difficulty.

    Was watching the NBC nightly national news cast last night and they mentioned it but I could have sworn they showed a MINT 9 (oc) blue sharpie autographed card...Maybe my eyes deceived me :s so not 100% sure.

    I saw the same broadcast and the label did say Mint 9oc. So you saw it correctly.

    With a background as dark as this card, light blue paint pen is the way to go.

    Id honestly rather have the back of the card signed in the red area vs the front. if the card is gem mint as well.
    But thats just me
