Chantilly Card Show

Never been… How is this show for 1960 and earlier Baseball cards?

There are a ton of tables so you will find some. Last time I bought a PSA 7 1963 Topps that I felt looked nice.
The percentage of tables that have it might be low. A lot of TCG Pokemon. A lot of modern. But if you look you can find some. If you are not looking for high grade that is a lot easier. Feels like a lot of not great condition raw and low grade graded can be found. But you look hard enough you can find some older nice stuff.
thanks for the comments

ungraded..there will be about 5. graded might add a few more. i love this show, but unfortunately i had eye surgery monday and i can't see out of my right eye and won't be able to attend. hopefully i can go in october.
Might be able to get out Saturday:
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
I was going to go today but decided against the 2-1/2 trip on a Friday in the worst traffic area in the country except for maybe LA and SF
$20 admission not compelling me.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
anybody go?
I went. It was a little bit of a bummer for me because my main reason to go was to consign with 4 Sharp Corners but they dont appear to be doing the show anymore, or at least not this one.
Plenty of decent stuff but I didn't buy. Did not have a lot on the shopping list or lots of cash in my pocket.
Did walk out with an impression that left a mark and will impact my investments from the pure financial angle. (Will still be stuff I just love and want for the PC even if it is not the best use of money.) The impression was Pokemon is kind of blowing the roof off the place. I had seen that the prices have been going up. But it felt like maybe close to half of the stuff displayed was Pokemon. Also at the tables with some decent Pokemom stuff, cards valued at 100 dollars to thousands of dollars, you might have 5 young folks up against the case so it wasnt easy to even see what they were selling. Other Pokemon cases maybe hard to see because there was a potential transaction in progress covering the case. Then you go a little over here and a guy is selling low grade vintage raw and there is not a human within 10 feet of the table.
I showed up 3:30 Saturday and it ended at 5 so missed the pandemonium which was kind of cool.
thanks for the update
So... I would have been the only human with 10 feet of the vintage table... and with my luck that likely would have been 70s- 80s.
Good to know...

I will qualify it with this is what it looked like at 330 to closing time Saturday. Last show I went to when I wanted an auto, closer to noon, there wasnt more than 2 feet between any 2 people. Friday last show was similar but I hear that is the thing these days, folks want to get there as early as possible to try to claim the best stuff.
Would also say there are categories of vintage dealers there. If you have a ridiculous bankroll the first table first row to your left (they always seem to get the same spot) has all you need. Loads of vintage cards in the 5K to maybe 50K range. Then you have the guys who have some nice vintage that can be in PSA 7 PSA 8 range that is a little more affordable. Then you have the folks with the T206s and the Turkey Reds. Then you have the guys with old stuff most of it not graded that would probably grade PSA 2 to PSA 4. That last group of guys was more the group I was thinking noone was getting close to.

SO when you walk in the front door after paying, head all the way to left, right beside the section where the autos are signed in the other section. That first dude to your right, last time he was across from BEckett. Does that sound correct?
Yeah, if walk through the front door and turn left walking toward the auto section that table is on your right as the last table with cards you will pass as you enter the auto world. I know Beckett was in that space before. PSA is in that same general space now. (Went up to the booth to say hey, you renewed my membership even though I canceled auto renew and they were like cant help you, contact customer service. At that point I shared my opinion that Customer Service at PSA borderline does not exist.😂 But have rethunk it and will probably try to make the best of it. Not sure I have a choice. Will probably be a member until I die. Probably after.) SGC has been in that space. Also a place that sells some jerseys. Have contemplated a cool kelly green Reggie White for a while.
