If you had a coin set from a certain year,would you take out the valuable ones?

    Welcome to the forum. The question doesn't really make sense as asked, I think a lot more information is needed here, what kind of a set are we talking about? What are you looking to gain by taking valuable coins out? A lot of people take individual coins out of proof sets or mint sets because they only collect one denomination.

    The goal to acquire a set of a certain year, (a matching set) just may suggest selling any one coin in that set, in order to upgrade the set or maybe just to upgrade it's matchability. (lol)
    Thus the never ending story.
    Me ?
    If ...the one most sought after coin, of that set, falls behind, the matching grade standard, set by the other coins in your set ?
    Or just need cash? Forgetaboutit !
    I'd SELL IT. Per market value's.
