NHL: Will McDavid be traded?

I think he will he will not win a Cup in Edmonton if their team does not make goalie changes.

I think Edmonton should be concerned about getting some dependable Goalie

McDavid underwhelmed in the Cup finals but I don't think Edmonton should consider moving him regardless

Game 3 Oilers scored 1 goal.
Game 5 Oilers scored 2 goals.
Game 6 Oilers scored 1 goal.

Doesn't look like a goalie problem to me.

McDavid was -7 in the last 5 games. His line is the key to Oilers success.

In game 4, the last win for the Oilers, they scored 5 goals and won in OT. McDavid had 1 assist and he was a -1 for the game.

The goals I saw (I didn't watch every minute) that Florida scored all looked pretty unstoppable, they were sniping the top corners a LOT.

  • As a Canadian I want him to stay in Edmonton but he may feel the need to move to win The Cup. And seal his legacy as one of the all-time greats.

Him being productive in the finals would have helped.

He's had 3 great years and 1 "all time great" year. Your list of "all time greats" must be pretty long.

Lonng enough I am thinking players that reached 1500 points or more in their careers. McDavid will hit that. On of my ways of saying all-time ''bests''. Although Bobby Orr did not have 1500 points and he ranks in the top 5.

1500 points is a good yardstick, however points is only PART of hockey.

Most here completely ignore the defensive part of the game.

This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.
