So I wasn't going to bother b/c I get tired of being a hall monitor/eBay police... but inspired by the current cob thread, I will. This particularly bothers me b/c the seller just recently bought the "coin" and then promptly pulled this. His first- and third-born should be eaten by Godzilla.
And the original seller isn't much better as he called it "contemporary" - he generally sells "good" material, but he's sold several 1650s Potosi casts over the past year.
Also, current seller's a stunad b/c he's clearly conflating the 1654 "Capitana" wreck with one of the 1715 Fleet ships... hence the BS cert... AND because he apparently doesn't see the word COPY.
First pic is the same "coin" shown compared to two others, bezeled, that I had seen previously... next two pics are his.
