1756-ICB. German States. Regensburg. Free City Taler (in the name of Franz I (1745-1765). Regensburg Mint. DAV-2618; KM-372. Cr-45a. Perfectly struck, with the most intricate details of the buildings and portrait apparent in stark detail. I have always been looking for a solid type city view taler and then this one came up.

One of the sharpest city view strikes I can recall seeing. Very nice, Z.
Wow - how detailed!
My current "Box of 20"
Very nice!
I never been there, Googled it and was pleasantly surprised that most of the old city escaped war damage - there's prints from about this time with a similar view - what's going on in the middle of the river? looks like a slide down from the bridge what's going on there?
