Can you fix a polished or whizzed , shiny coin by....

in Q & A Forum
dipping it ????
just a dumb thought.
I have a raw 1932 Canada 50 cents all shiny and glitzy. It would make VF 30, but.......
unless it spent a long time in some pants pocket, hence being "naturally polished)...????, it is whizzed.
Thank you all

Not at all. Physical damage can't be dipped away.
Depending on the severity of the polishing or whizzing it might (?) be possible to wear the surfaces down past the damage by carrying it in your pocket for a sufficient time.
Stupid spell check - i fixed it twice and it still went back. 😡
Anything that you try to do would probably make it worse.
Just leave it. Also could you provide a picture?
Thanks for your input

Here are the images
Your coin has a lot of surface scratches. It looks harshly cleaned to me. I doubt it would straight grade numerical. ICCS since you are in Canada are strict graders as you probably already know.
To bad since it is a semi-key date.
Put it in a rock tumbler. My suggestion.

ok, thank you all.
it is silvery shiny and scratchy everywhere...
However. it is still a 1932 50 cent coin.
