He was only 65 years old.

I guess he was on drugs/alcohol a good portion of his life. I think there was an OD situation a couple of years ago as well. I read a report that last year or the year before he was riding around in an electric wheelchair.
I think his body gave out after a lifetime of hard living.

Following the death of Jim Irsay, his daughter, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, is expected to take over ownership of the Indianapolis Colts, with her sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, also having ownership roles. Irsay-Gordon will reportedly be the primary figure in charge of the football operations, according to the New York Post.
I foresee no problems with his daughter 🚩 and her two sisters 🚩 running an NFL team. 🚩

The Colts owner had previously suffered a serious health scare in December 2023 when he was found on his bathroom floor with his skin had turned blue by responding Carmel Police Department officers during what was described as a suspected "overdose" in documents obtained by FOX 59, though he publicly denied it being an overdose."
Well when your skin turns blue means heart isn't pumping normally - damaging vital organs especially the brain!

I did a quick google search and it seems like Irsay had problems with alcohol and pain killers for a long time.
Everyone knows the inherent problems with alcohol. But pain killers can have grave effects as well. Particularly damage to the liver and kidneys. Once the liver and kidneys begin to deteriorate, the entire body goes into a downward spiral.
