Miscellaneous cards

A dealer has these cards and thought getting them graded would make some sense. Any feedback on this? I'm new to this section.

Did the dealer tell you why he didn’t get them graded? If it would be advantageous for you, seems that it would be a bonus for him too.

He doesn't send anything to PSA or do anything online. Indoor flea market on weekend.

Ensure to tighten the screws full force on the holder with the Ashburn. o:)

It looks like someone may have spilled a lot of BBQ sauce on Mickey and then did not do a great job of napkining it off. Or accidentally left multiple lit cigarettes on it. Huge crease in the bottom right part of the card if I'm seeing the pic right.

On Clemente looks like just one crease wasnt enough so they went with two.

I'd say both of these may not be great grading candidates based on that. You can go to the psa web site look at auction prices and think about whether a PSA 1 or 2 or 3 makes it worth paying his price and the grading fee and waiting 3 months to have something worth that. I'd think no but do the math.

That ticket seems to be a cigarette victim too. But its cool. Have no idea what the value of that would be graded.

Hard to say on Richie. If that is genuine, it may be more promising. The borders are very white and its centered left to right, not horrible top to bottom. Corners dont look bad and at first glance dont see creases but you would need to give it a hard look. So my first thought is make sure its not a reprint or does not look like someone took an Xacto knife to it. If no on both, that may be worth pursuing.

Welcome to the long version of just saying "no".

I would not grade the Mantle and Clemente game cards. Both would grade low. The same with the ticket; except if it was something more valuable as I do not know anything about tickets like that. I would absolutely grade the Ashburn if there are no signs of it being a reprint. It is a great looking card.
    Good Luck.

I asked "Bucky" next time I saw him in the flea market what happened to the cards? He said he sold them all and threw the Ashburn in for free because it had a fold.
