    Too funny - I’m from Pittsburgh, so when I saw the title Pops Stargell popped into my head immediately. Didn’t think he’d be so close to the top of the list though! :D

    I cannot believe Frank Thomas had 32 steals. that is an unreal stat

    He did have a bad percentage, but little known fact he did play TE for a year for Auburn. He didnt see much time and was so much better at baseball he gave up football

    yes, I remember that. I am guessing that he was a blocking TE!! the last 2/3rds of his career (at least) he was absolutely a lead foot. station to station. like Mcgwire and Cecil Fielder were.

    I think he had like 3 catches of something. He had a little speed but probably was much more of a blocker that didnt see the field much. He definitely got really slow as he bulked up but if you try enough and are okay with a terrible success rate youll get some over such a long career. Even Ortiz managed to steal 17 and he was much slower

    One guy high on the list that surprises me is Bill Mazeroski. That seems like a very low total for a second baseman.
