From my personal collection. Liberty nickel proofs are common enough, but often look like someone sneezed on them before being encapsulated, with splatter spots and unattractive haze, even on gems. This example sets itself apart with wonderful deep sunset-colored toning that fully envelops both obverse and reverse. The fields are strongly mirrored and eye appeal is excellent, the only complaint being a minor dark toning spot on the neck. Offered under CPG ($525) and with no toning premium for a quick sale.
