Perhaps being optimistic... but I would still bet on the upside.

3300 seems a bit optimistic for me but as eluded to above I'm definitely bullish on gold for 2025 B)

Both are possible, weren't we at $2,800 a few weeks ago ?

I think we could go to $3,700 this year. But while the trend the next few years looks clear, yearly predictions are a crapshoot.

Agree. There is a good chance we'll see $3300 by summer. There is a good chance we'll see $2700 by the end of the year. I don't see Au going under $2500 again and $4000 Au will happen but I believe that's a few years away. :)

What was funny is that, in the last 2 days, I've seen some "news articles" online that are saying "Gold $3000 in 2025????".
Ummmm....already past that...in the last 2 days especially. Didn't see a date on the articles but they just popped up so I think they are new and just uninformed, thinking they are experts.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

@relicsncoins OP, you should retitle this thread: "gold-in-2025-2500-or-5000#latest". I would have said send us to the nut house when you started this thread almost 2 months ago but here we are. CRZY WRLD!

Edit: if we do get a correction it's going to be rather fugly. I don't see it with current market conditions but our newfound chaos can change on a moment's notice. THKS!

$3350. Is some of this rapid increase due to unwinding of wrong-way bets?
    Gold/silver ratio now 102.
    Gold/platinum ratio now 3.45.

Some commentators have suggested we’ve reached “peak uncertainty,” but that may be wishful thinking. More likely, we’re in a temporary lull—a pause before the next market-moving headline or social media post reignites volatility.

For now, the gold market is consolidating. Whether that turns into a deeper correction or sets the stage for another rally will depend on how the next chapter of global risk unfolds.
