Thanks for your opinion, dear friends. What do you think about the state of preservation? No one is taking any risks. What classification do you give it, gentlemen? That's all I'm asking.
Average circulated condition. No state of preservation in my opinion. It may be exhibiting a bit of strike through grease look in the letters on the reverse, or it could be counting wheel damage. If it was silver it'd have some value over face, but clad is valued at face only.

NO.
You must not clean any coins, ever.
You must not store any of the coins you have shown. The coins you have shown have no numismatic value. As many others have already said, these should be spent, not stored.
Excuse the comments. I get a little annoyed when people make fun of someone just starting out. I'm going to keep posting. Call me a troll or whatever, I'll keep learning. That's what life is all about.

I have some quarters that weigh 5.85 grams. I understand that the copper and nickel ones should weigh 5.62 grams. Are they made of another alloy?
that number is within the weight tolerances of quarters made between 1965 to now

The Bicentennial coins also had a 40% silver version. The color would be a little different, for example.
This bicentennial coin, besides weighing that, has a black edge. I don't know if the bronze turns black due to some environmental conditions. Thank you.

It's a nice example of pocket change that you can easily spend for face value.

How many coins do you have, Ike? I won't post many, just maybe 10.

Please do not post any more of your coins. Spend them or just give them away.
All common stuff, spend it
Troll.
It is not the rare "Type H" reverse variety.
But I like it OK for a quarter (to spend).

If it was 1964 then yes.
keep learning, but i gave links to read. you can get a lot of education from them
Show that you're actually learning, and you'll have people lined up to help you.

That one may be the exception.
Today they brought me the scales, and I started weighing them. From what I'm seeing, this looks good.
How much do the scales weigh?
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I'm going to check now how many there are with that weight.
that number is within the weight tolerances of quarters made between 1965 to now
I was watching a video that said that those things could contain silver
quarter, dime, half dollars 1964 and before are 90% silver
there are 90% dollars too, but the last released for circulation was 1935
They also could contain gold. "Could" is irrelevant, given that your coins are completely normal and worth nothing more than face value.
This would be a good time to demonstrate that you are learning...

I definitely need to read a lot. Thanks to everyone for the genuine support.

I meant copper hahaha
The 40% silver Bicentennial quarter would have to have an S mintmark. Yours doesn't have the look of silver as far as I can tell.
And, copper on the edge can indeed turn dark under certain conditions.
Thank you very much, my friend. I appreciate the help. What is the weight of that 40% silver S mark coin?
