HELLO.............

This has been a problem for over 6 months now, recently stickered CAC coins are not being added to the PCGS inventory!
You started the CAC only registry sets and now you just turn your back on us???
I now have 9 coins with a CAC stickers that I can't add to my CAC sets.
Talk about letting people down, this is a disaster

Edited to add all PCGS people

In the long run this will hurt PCGS as collectors gravitate to the CAC Registry which includes CACG, PCGS, and NGC coins.

I believe someone has to, not getting much support.
I just don't know what more I can do
    It's just very frustrating
    Just crickets from PCGS

At this point, I just want them to delist CAC sets. Should be simple to do. I see this as an integrity issue.

Delist them from My Collect also. You CAN use CAC only sets but they DONT allow CACG coins in non CAC only sets. I learned this after buying several coins.

Well I’ve deleted all from the several TPG registry sets. Everyone is evidently going to have to make a choice. I thought Ian at Great Collections had the perfect formula for registry sets (like his outstanding auction platform) but I was mistaken My Collect), Initially one could enter almost any plastic and they tried harder to be more inclusive but for whatever reason they’ve backed down from that position. Oh, in the spirit of transparency I demanded to be banned from NGC, but without any warnings or wrist slaps it proved very difficult but achievable. ANA, sorry just not enough traffic. I’m a CAC member but haven’t tried it out yet though most of my coins are CAC. Now I have no where to display my complete Carson City GSA set (32 different CC ones including VAMS), my 11 different 1882-CC GSA’s and well over 200 more GSA’s.
I’ll try and hang with PCGS as they’ve always been the best but I also can’t get ANY coins accepted to the registry. Three states they’re registered to another user. I waited 5 days and sent the pictures front and back. Still nothing, so I sent them in again. They were PCGS/CAC, wonder if that made a difference.

Evidently all that is required is patience 3 days after waiting the three days for the previous owner to do the right thing. I sent them in (they were vouchers) and received several nice emails telling me they’ve been removed. Then another extremely nice explanation from Hy as to what’s going on at PGCS.

We are usually on the same page on a lot of things but not on this one
If your house needed a new roof would you just sell the house?
The solution would be to FIX IT!

Of course. Yet this presumes that they desire to fix it. Hence, since they don't and won't, that is my desire.

I am also frustrated with this as many of my sets are all CAC and I cannot add a number of high value coins. I wish they would just tell us the truth which I believe is that they will never be able to add the CAC coins as they do not have access to the information and it will not be forth coming with out paying for it. They just keep saying they are working on it and there might not be a fix. Just my Guess and opinion could be totally wrong.

I am also starting to download my sets to the CAC registry. Will eliminate my sets here in the near future.

I have been 100% PCGS for the last 20 years but have recently purchased a couple of CACG coins and will be buying more in the future because of this problem. How can they not realize that the registry game drives submissions and revenue for them. So risky to just ignore the registry.

Keep in mind that MyCollect (owned by GC) has full access to CAC data, as MyCollect has CAC Only sets. They also give more points to coins in other sets that merit CAC stickers.

GC made a business decision to pay CAC their fee for data access, and apparently PCGS made a business decision to not pay CAC that fee, to the detriment of PCGS Registry customers. While I don’t know the size of the fee, nor have access to PCGS financials, my sense is they could easily afford that fee, but has just chosen not to pay it! As a result, there’s a few extra dollars in the pockets of the private shareholders. Sad!
