I really wanted a 2024 Heritage Brett, until I saw the poor effort he put into placing his sig on the iconic image. Even though I wanted it, I would have been sooooo hacked off to have pulled this card last year.

You know I thought it made sense to have nine cards in a pack to match 9 innnings in a game and 9 players on the field/lineup at a time but now it's dropping down to eight? Cheapskates...
You know, just like I how said that 1971 is among my favorite/dream sets, but at the same time I must be careful not to overlook 1972 as it too is an iconic and colorful set in its own right. Same deal applies here, 1975 is among my all-time favorites because of how colorful it is but 1976 is a nice colorful set in its own right. I'm really disappointed they didn't acknowledge the bicentennial in anyway in that original 1976 set so I hope maybe with this Heritage set or next year's Heritage set it'll give some love to America's 250th birthday! I don't know if it's all that likely but wouldn't that be really swell if brought back the bubble gum blowing tournament and picture the champ on the front and the bracket on the back for Heritage like the original 1976 had?
And apparently there's a special insert set for Heritage's 25th anniversary? Hopefully it's one of the easy/affordable insert sets like the Baseball/News Flashback ones...as opposed to say, the ones with the stamps and coins from that year which would be amazing and fascinating...but they are super low serial numbered which means getting anywhere close to a full set (you know me, I'm all about sets) is virtually impossible.

Just another reason that Mike Schmidt is better.
Wouldn't that be amazing if they had done a bubble gum blowing tournament card with the winner on the front and bracket on the back?

Apparently the cheapskates over at Fanatics saw fit to no longer include box/carton toppers either
