Cora chirps about the Red Sox 3rd base enigma

Devers is in his third season of a 10-year, $313 million contract with the Red Sox and was thought to be the team's future third baseman. Both will likely play the position throughout the 2025 season, but no decision has been announced on who will be the starter.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora provided an update about the position battle on MLB Network.
"I think there's a lot of decisions that we have to make around (third base), right," Cora said. "Raffy was loud and clear. He's a third baseman and I understand that. I've been with that kid since November 2017. He's a proud individual but one thing about Raffy is that he wants to win. I think that first game in Texas we will do whatever is good for the Boston Red Sox and they are all on board. There's a lot of conversations and we'll see what happens."
Though Devers is a force to be reckoned with at the plate, he is not known for his defensive prowess. Devers had a career-low 12 errors last season, but has led the American League in errors at third base for seven straight seasons while Bregman won a Gold Glove last season. One way or another, the position battle will be figured out soon. Devers is already complaining to Cora about a sore shoulder while live ABs. and is pushing back his Spring Training debut...GEEZ, what have you been doing in the last 5 months???

Easy solution...man up and put Devers as DH, Bregman at 3rd. Why is that so hard. Devers is being paid a fortune to play and should without question go where they tell him to play. I think the cream puff Cora (the cheater) will cave and leave Devers at 3rd and not realize that he's giving in to a whiner.
Comments
I have been saying for years Devers has no business playing 3rd base. I doubt he could be anything but a DH. If he has hurt feelings it's just too bad. What's one more disgruntled player on the Red Sox? Gold glove winner Bregman is their 3rd baseman.
They should trade Devers to the Brewers for a player to be named and pay his salary.
