Forum rules number 10 has some contact info:

Rule 10) If you have an issue with a post or member, please contact the Forum Admin at webmaster@collectors.com or ForumModerator@collectors.com.

Might not be the reason you want to contact them, but it might work for your needs.

Thanks I appreciate your help. I would NEVER contact a moderator to tattle on another member. The last time I told on someone I was in third grade.

Do some people on this board actually tattle to the moderators on other members?

  • It happens.

    Gobble.

I'll assume you couldn't possibly think myself or anyone here would tattle on you. You're doing a fine job of connecting with other board members. Notoriously so.

    Gobble.

I would never think that a grown up would ever tattle on anyone. Its beyond pathetic.

Interesting. But, isn't that how some crimes get reported? Just asking.

    Gobble.

Reporting a crime it not tattling. Its an attempt to put a criminal in jail and to protect the public. Its not comparable to a kid telling his mom that his brother took a cookie out of the cookie jar or a poster not liking what someone else said so they tattle to the moderator. Strong and confident people don't get offended or upset by speech or words.

  • Are we really having an immature grade school discussion about tattling?

The substantial truth doctrine is an important defense in defamation law that allows individuals to avoid liability if the gist of their statement was true.

  • Hi everyone

If you ever have any questions/problems, you can PM me and I'll try to help or pass it on up.

It appears that some posters are tattling on other members. I was very surprised to here that but unfortunately its true.

I have 2 dogs one male, one female. The female is sweet but tiny Shih-Poo who weighs about 10lbs. The male is Sheppard who is 5x her weight.

Several times a week the Male leaves a dental chew unattended, the female will come across it and liberate it for herself.

The male eventually will go back to the spot he left it and then look all confused. Eventually he will see the female has it.

The male will then hunt down my wife and bark at her. The English translation is "Wah wah wah Mommie, my sister took my dental chew and won't give it back"

My wife will find the female and exchange the dental chew for a treat.

Given their size differentials I'm glad he tattles rather than take the situation into his own jaws.
