not bad.. but I'd rather spend 20 bucks to buy a 88-89 Fleer RC Pippen, 89 Hoops RC Robinson, and still have a bit of change leftover..

man will u STOP nagging about your Pippen, Stockton, Robinson RC's!! again, u talk in contradictions, you say that modern cards are worth nothing, then why do you collect Jason Williams? He's modern + he SUX!
I do have modern cards but I just don't go overboard with them is all because I know they have little to no long term value.

yes, I know that.. most of today's collectors are wasting their money too

That is where you are wrong!
RC's are now SP, unlike years ago when they printed a sh*t load of them! RC now adays will hold their BV very well! Plus they like a hell of alot better! Just my 2 cents!
How do you figure rookies of today will hold their value when just about ALL of them are SP's and there are about 30+ different sets to get 30+ different rookie cards of each player. Vintage rookies usually have only ONE rookie card which makes it more unqiue for long term value in my opinion. How many Wilt Chamberlain rookies are there? ONE! How many Larry Bird rookies? ONE! Magic Johnson? ONE! (same card as Bird though, but still only one). How many of Bill Russell? Bob Cousy? Scottie Pippen? ONE! I could go on and on.

Also, almost every rookie card from last year or the year before seem to have DROPPED significantly in value to me. Unless all these down arrows in my Beckett's here were accidentally printed up-side-down!

and your point is? a defensive guy for the Packers, Kabeer Gbaja-Bimila has 2 RCs... and he was a rookie in 2001.
that right there makes ALL that you just typed, useless
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't all of Michael Vick's RCs shoot UP in value? I just looked at the Beckett, and saw a $1,200 price tag next to his SP Authentic RC. Yeah, his cards are going down.
Interested primarily in Champ Bailey-RCs, game-used and autos
