The fourth digit was probably shaven down by someone, or it could be a grease filled die. Tough to tell because of the corrosion. I wouldn't think much of it.
It appears to be a grease filled die but hard to tell from photos.
Without a complete date, it really devaluates the coin.
Also, do NOT hold coins in your hand like that. Lay it on a flat
neutral toned surface when shooting photos.
