Habs vs Devils tomorrow night, no tv for me here for this one, but always pulling for the Habs!
I grab the game via radio live on the internet try that it may work. I get most games for the whole league all season. I will take for Montreal for sure.

I'm going to check my XM schedule and see if I can listen there. Hopefully we will be respectable this season. It's a young team being built around Caufield and Suzuki. We'll see how Kent Hughes progresses as our gm. Hopefully he will be better than Bergevin, who must have had some top secret info on Molson. lol. They should have let him go at least 4 years ago imho. I also think the injury to Price has hurt a lot as well.
They need a new goalie Price is get up there in age (36) and in my opinion passed his prime. They need a goalie that is younger and has a hunger to win. Will be a long time before Montreal becomes a contender but I still enjoy following them. I will follow mostly these Canadian teams in 2023-24: Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa. Toronto if the other 3 are not playing.

Price is basically retired. He hasn't played since April 2022.
But I believe his contract is still good for a few more years so he is a drain on their salary cap. To bad that money could be better spent. I believe his salary is 8.5$ million that is a whole lot of money for a goalie that can't play. And is now 10.5$ million for 2023-24.
The end of his contract is in 2026 that is a long time a lots of money.

See below info I found:
How much would it cost to buy out Carey Price?
A Carey Price buyout spans 4 years, has a cost of $2,666,667 and savings of $1,333,333. Price is 36 years of age at the time of the buyout; therefore, the buyout ratio is 2/3. With $4,000,000 in salary remaining, the cost is $2,666,667, and the savings are $1,333,333.

found this old hockey photo

Connor Bedard has 2 points so far seems like he will fit in just fine in the NHL.
