The others I bid on (Carlos and Iohanna) went for much higher than my bids 😢

    Apparently they thought it looked powerful and flattering. Just looks like steroid abuse to me.

    I debated bidding up the 1787-Mo 8R a little higher for fun but then worried I might own it at over $10,000.

    Finally got an ancient Roman gold aureus out of this auction — I have been looking for a while. Not in the highest grade, but it has even honest wear an a good “look”. Can’t go terribly wrong with Nero either.
