What did the silver dollar grade?
MS 64

PCGS graded the 1960 Dollar at MS64. The obverse has a nice lustrous look. The standard for 65 and higher on the Elizabeth II Dollars for commercial strikes is a challenge. I agree with the grade at 64 and it is in my registry set.
The 1953 Balboa in a high grade is also a challenge. The color on this is better than what was captured in the image. In all fairness, capturing color in coin photography is not easy and is above my pay grade. This one graded higher than the Canadian Dollar at MS65 with 12 graded at that level.

64 is harsh on the Canada IMHO, looks like a luster bomb
It is a luster bomb... but TPG is tough on these. I think I have 1 or 2 other 1960 Dollars that were bought at the same time- chose not to submit them-- may change my mind at some point
