Went into the BBCE Casino......

I've been getting into late 1990's football inserts. I was searching on ebay and the usual suspects (D&A, Steelcity, etc) for late 1990's FB boxes and didn't find any. D&A used to have a nice selection but not any more. I decided to check BBCE and BINGO, I was able to buy a bunch of boxes for a decent price.

Thanks again to Rick and BBCE. I am really happy with my purchase.

A girl has to have her secrets

I'll post pics when I get the boxes, they were mainly 1995 and 1996 Football. I was going to buy more but I left some for you guys. Believe me, I checked around and between availability and price, you cannot beat BBCE for the mid-1990's FB boxes.

Ha. I haven't bought anything in a while from BBCE. I sent Rick an email about a number of boxes and he gave me a pretty good deal compared to anything else I've seen. The one I am most excited about are the 1995 Pinnacle Zenith FB Boxes. Those have one Z-Team per box and that is one of my favorite inserts from that era. For some reason, football was the only Zenith product to get 1 Z-team per box. I think HK and BB are 1 Z-team per 3 boxes.

I got to go to their new retail store this past week. First time to see it in person. Pretty impressive from a standpoint of unopened and individual cards

IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Pinnacle Zenith is very underrated IMO. Great pickup.

BINGO is a game of chance in which each player matches the numbers printed in different arrangements on cards. The game host (a caller) draws at random, marking the selected numbers with tiles. When a player finds that the selected numbers are arranged on their card in a row, they call out "Bingo!" to alert all participants to a winning card, which prompts the game host (or an associate assisting the host) to examine the card for verification of the win. Players compete against one another to be the first to have a winning arrangement for the prize or jackpot. After a winner is declared, the players clear their number cards of the tiles and the game host begins a new round of play.

    What's BINGO?

"Bingo" (also known as "Bingo Was His Name-O" or "There Was a Farmer Had a Dog" or "B-I-N-G-O") is an English language children's song of obscure origin. Additional verses are sung by omitting the first letter sung in the previous verse and clapping or barking the number of times instead of actually saying each letter

The contemporary version generally goes as follows:
There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    B-I-N-G-O
    B-I-N-G-O
    B-I-N-G-O
    And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-I-N-G-O
    (clap)-I-N-G-O
    (clap)-I-N-G-O
    And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-(clap)-N-G-O
    (clap)-(clap)-N-G-O
    (clap)-(clap)-N-G-O
    And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-G-O
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-G-O
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-G-O
    And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-O
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-O
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-O
    And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    and Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
    And Bingo was his name-o.

Though the first line is ungrammatical in standard English, using an apo koinou construction, it is nearly always sung with the lyrics as stated.

I have to admit, I didn’t think the thread would go in this direction.

For the past month and a half, we've been switching over to a new warehouse management system. This has resulted in all my unopened inventory (2016 and earlier) to come down off the website. I have not been very happy lately because of this. Hopefully things get fixed soon; I brought back a 26' truck full of unopened the week before the National and bought a bunch of stuff at the show as well. Nothing has been listed yet, but should be going live starting next week. should

Football is so underpriced. Heck Vida Blue and Frank Tanana cards sell for more than Lynn Swann and Randy White.
