Assistance needed - what are Prid numbers and what reference books or auction catalog are they associated with? I have seen them listed on some Isle of Man slabs.
Appreciate any assistance.

Fred Pridmore was a famous British Numismatist who wrote 4 famous volumes from which the catalogue numbers come from. He was an expert in British Commonwealth coins. Most of his information can be found in his obituary in 1980 linked below.

Resurrecting an OLD thread...does any one happen to have Pridmore's "The Coins of the British Commonwealth of Nations, part 2 - Asian territories"?
If so, I'd really appreciate if you can look up the plate for a specific coin.
@MilkmanDan I believe that is the scarcer volume of the series. And it happens to be the only one I’m missing. I tried several times to buy it, but kept getting outbid. Sorry I can’t be of any help.
That’s what I’m learning, thanks for the reply. I ended up finding one in the ANA library so I requested to check it out. First time doing this, we’ll see how it goes.
Good luck. The book is quite thorough, but a bit confusing.
@milkman1965 if you don't find out via the ANA library, I have a copy and can check.
