He'll get another 10-day for sure. The Raps are soooo banged up right now its not even funny. If he plays this way for the rest of the 1-day, he'll get signed for the season with the injuries we have. Right now the guys hurt: Carter, Jefferies, Hunter, Montross, Huffman, N'diaye, Murray. This isn't even counting Olajuwon who's on the roster. JYD needs elbow surgury but is playing through it. Alvin is really banged up. We are going to shatter the man games lost this year. Plus we have 3 guys on 10-days: Alston, Long and Brown. We need Alston just we not have to forfeit games... a team must dress 8 a game.

eht: Good call, I'll just count in the HOLE game kidd played (althought rafer played about 20 minutes) Kidd scored 25 in the game, and rafer had 17. Not bad for playing the "best" pg in the game.

jon: thanks for someone replying those knows SOMETHING about basketball. No doubt alston will finally have a home for this year. And hell show the nation that he isnt just a street baller. BTW : Any news on carter since the possible trade lingo?

Nothing new on Carter... no one really knows what is going on... he had two full practiced last wed and thurs... the whole city thought he'd be back on friday, coach and players all talking as if he's ready. Then the doctors reevaluated him on friday morning and said he's not playing. And after the game they said he wouldn't ready for Sunday against the T-Wolves either. After the game on Sunday, don't know if its a fact or made up but Jerome "JYD" Williams let it slip that VC's out for around another 3 weeks.... Vince says he's already to play but now the team won't even let him step onto the court. Now I guess he only rehabs... no practicing with the team. He says three weeks is crazy and he'll be back before then. No one really knows whats going on... everyone involved with the team has a different story. I think Vince is around 85-90% but the team won't let him back on until he's 100%... no point risking injury when the season is virtually gone. May as well lose a few more games and move closer towards getting King James or Carmelo Anthony.

For those who keep on saying or wondering...FOR THE LAST TIME VINCE WILL NOT BE TRADED!!! Management has no intentions to, I've heard the assistant coaches come out and say there is no way he'll be moved and the contracts don't even work!!! Vince is BYC (for those who know basketball you know what this means)... Miles and Big Z? Would would trade Vince for that package? Why trade arguably a Top 5 player when healthy when his value it the lowest? VINCE WILL NEVER BE TRADED FROM TORONTO!!! If Vince is dealt that pretty much means the Toronto franchise is gone unless we are getting Kobe, Shaq, Kidd, or Lebron in return.

LOL, we are talking about basketball point totals here. What makes you think you can round? So if someone averages 15.01 points per game for their career I can say that they scored 20 points per game cause I rounded? LOL, what a dope

UW, I don't know as much about bkb as fb thats for sure, but to think that someone can score 17 points and you try to claim that he scored 20 is pathetic. You can't do it. In football I cant say someone had a 200 yard rushing game when he really rushed for like 178 yards. Its common sense

Totally agree with you Zimmy. Saying Alston scored 20 is like saying someone got a double double by scoring 18 pts and grabbing 9 boards. You can't round up, you could have said he almost scored 20, but almost doesn't count, that is like saying the Kings almost won the series vs the Lakers in the playoffs last year. State the facts, don't make up your own stats.
