Who would buy this autographed card?

I'm seeing more and more of modern players with really, really bad signatures. I think the card companies should see what a player's signature looks like before hiring them to sign their cards. Current bid on this card is $2.80 and that seems like about $2.80 too much for me:

I actually thought the same thing: The mark of Zorro!

I searched this superstars autograph. The most complete I could find was something resembling “C Schmidt” back in 2017. He then switched to a fairly legible “C S” for a number of years. Now, after a full season in the bigs, he’s evolved to this scribble. I can only imagine how he’ll sign if he gets a spot in the rotation.

I'm going to be honest, I have a horrendous signature. This doesn't bother me that much.

His signature will be very easy to forge.

He signs better than his pitching performances with RISP
