Testing my new I pad camera

lighting angle too low or just wrong.

is the coin flat or horizontal?

the potential is there and i know apple cameras and the quality of image is DIRECTLY tied to the light source. meaning, the worse or less the light source, the more rapidly the image quality deteriorates and not just for coins.

it is impressive just how much image quality goes up with proper lighting under normal circumstances and just even more so with phone/tablet etc cameras.
