if they used alcohol to take the signature off, after a couple days it would have wore away the coloring and everything too. it wouldnt just take the auto off, it would slowly burn through the card.

That would only happen if you soak the card in alcohol. On cards with glossy surfaces like the SPX, you can easly put rubbing alcohol and rub off any dirt or extra crap off the surface. And yes, signatures can come off too!!!! This guy must have rubbed it off and hey it sold for a real good price. Can you tell he rubbed it out? Nope because I bet you that surface is perfect.....no damage. Now if this was an unglossy card and it had no sig (like an autographics from 98) then I'd think it's authentic because they have no gloss and putting a cleaner on it would damage the surface.

yep...exactly....on those mad glossy spx...you can remove all traces of the auto, perfectly, nobody could possibly tell the difference if it was done well.
yea its weird now how so many "non auto" cards are appearing. They dont slip out that often. There should be maybe 2 or three non auto errors a year. No way should there be 10 or more on ebay every week.
I will be the first to admit that I am no expert when it comes to autos...but I can spot a homo like yourself from a mile away...Knew I should steered clear from this post...
