from the 1st angle it looked like he was all over the guy but if u saw the second angel he didnt get touched till he touched the ball so i didnt feel as good watchin miami lose
rookies and autos of stars and minor stars in football and basketball, and also carolina players who have gone onto have decent careers
You are all nuts, how many offsides calls did Miami NOT get called against them. How many Pass interference calls did they not get called for. Ohio EARNED this win, despite the poor officiating against them. You are right about one thing, the officiating was awful!!! I guess we all know who the Refs were pulling for. Congrats to the Buckeyes!!!!!
totally agree w/ Bradley. I am biased, but Miami got so many calls there way especially in the first half. A couple of them made it basically impossible to get a first down so it ended the drive. The Buckeyes earned this win. I have to give it up for the Canes though. Especially Dorsey coming back even though you knew he wasn't 100%.
I'm looking for anything Yanks, any baseball autos, and much much more on my site. Thanks.
Man this one is all over the papers! The ref who made the bad call was from the Big12 and has made two previous bad calls that he made apologies for earlier in the year! What a way to screw up the whole season! OSU should not be national champs! Kill the Zebras!!!
This is scary, I am going to agree with you again! The ref should be fired. You don't throw a flag 4 seconds late and bail out a team that lost the game. The game was over, the Miami guy did not grab, hold or interfere with the receiver.
What a disgrace, NCAA is becoming the new Boxing sport - all rigged.
As far as the hit on the Miami RB, it looked intentional to me, you don't hit a knee with a helmet unless you aim it there.
Oh yea, lets blame the game on the refs for one questionable call. Let's not talk about how poorly Miami played. Lets not talk about how they can't score on 4 opportunities from the 1-2 yard line, let's talk about none of those things, just blame the game on one questionable call. BTW: Here is what the ref said who threw the flag:
"I saw the guy holding the guy prior to the ball being put in the air," Porter said. "He was still holding him, pulling him down while the ball was in the air. I gave the signal for holding. Then I realized it should be pass interference because the ball was in the air."
Porter, part of a Big 12 officiating crew, says the call was delayed because he replayed it in his mind: "I wanted to make double sure it was the right call."

I agree that Miami played poorly but they did come back tie the game and won it in overtime! That play called correctly ends the game.
It's not the same to screw up a call in the 3rd quarter with 5:00 minutes left and have another quarter to play. In overtime everything is more delicate, the ref's excuse was pathetic, he should be fired. 3 blown calls in one season by the same ref- please!
Still, Dorsey should have completed the 3rd down pass to the tight end or stopped the 4th and 13 but you got to hand it to OSU they played to beat Miami. Miami played to beat themselves and the refs helped and that is the truth - no matter how much anyone hates Miami.

Wait a minute, yes it is the same. This is college OT remember. The game wasn't over. They just went into a second OT and both teams were square again. Yea that play was questionable, but if you are Miami you move on and play the 2nd OT. I don't know what the correct call was, I know that there was no PI when the ball got there, and apparently thats the same thing the ref is saying. He said he saw holding before the ball was put into the air and right after the ball was put into the air, thats why he changed his ruling from holding to PI. So I, and everyone else, should take a look at that play again. What was clear the first few times I saw it was that it was closer to PI before or right when the pass was thrown. But regardless Miami still should have been able to score and stop the Buckeyes if they were truly great.

Dorsey could'nt connect with his tight end, because, Matt Wilhelm slapped the taste out of his mouth. I guess that should have been a penalty to huh? SOUR GRAPES take your butt kickin and get over it!!!
