Sundrive solar

Sundrive solar just figured out how to make panels with copper instead of silver. Bloomberg has an article but it is behind a paywall. I should have sold when it hit $30.

That's an Interesting development.
Copper has more tarnish issues.
Maybe a layer of silver or gold over copper to keep the costs down.
Unfortunately my solar stocks are still getting crushed. Well then so is my gutter metal. Crazy world!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Interesting development. Remains to be seen how quickly they will become available in the market... and how well the panels will hold up when in use, etc. In other words, is there a trade-off... shorter life span, etc.?
Both silver and palladium will be interesting to watch. If silver is no longer needed for solar panels will there be another use found to keep demand up. With Palladium, what will be a use after catalytic converters are no longer needed in EV production.

That explains the ___% increase for copper in the past year.
Fill in the blank.

I think all pricing is fixed. Copper is just the silver lining.
