Bought this set at garage sale.

As the title suggests, I bought this set of notes at a garage sale for $40. The signatures looked to be in genuine ink and already in protective sleeves. Did I get a bargain or blindsided? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Each note appears to be genuine and you did great!

    Collector of numeral seals.That's the 1928 and 1928A series of FRNs with a number rather than a letter in the district seal. Owner/operator of Bottom Line Currency

    Yeah, you got a great deal for $10 a note. Usually when this type of stuff is found in such a venue it tends to be reproductions that even the sellers have no clue as to their authenticity.

    Amazing find at a garage sale - maybe the guy thought that word on them was "COUNTERFEIT" - LOL!

    You got about $100-$150 worth of notes for $40.

    It would be nice if we could all do that more often.

    Seek and ye shall find.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
