I have been fascinated by the only examples of circulating Platinum coinage but am struggling for find many resources to educate myself. Any books, websites or dealers who are known to carry these. Does anybody have any examples to share?
How about 6 or 12 rubles?

They are in Bitkin. Also in major sale catalogues like Farouk, Goodman, GDM, etc. I would think Dmitry Markov would carry these... if not him then Elmen is a good bet as well. In Europe many auctions houses deal with Russian platinum. Kuenker, Gorny, etc.
I think I had 7 or 8 different when I auctioned the better part of my Russian collection. I can't say I ever saw a specific book about these. I think they still bring the strong prices they did when I sold mine around 2005-06. I bought every 3 Rouble Platinum I was every offered over probably a 10 year period. Doing 40+ shows a year and that was the total with my wife and myself scouring the bourse floors for Russian and being known as very strong buyers of Russian coins.
The 6 + 12 Roubles are incredibly tough. The only time I saw any examples of those were at major auctions. Never offered 1 and never could stomach the big bucks required to buy one.
Believe it or not there are some counterfeits out there so be careful.
