The Clement XII medal with the façade of the Lateran Basilica is wonderful, and a nice early strike before the prominent die cracks appeared on the reverse!

Here's my gilt example of this medal:

Baldwin's described the medal as "dirty." Happily, no one tried to clean it. It was handled roughly, though.

From Baldwin's of St. James' June sale, a mounted pair of high-relief plaques for Pius IX's 50th year of ordination. By F. Langmann, 62.5mm.
