OK, this usually plays to crickets, but here is another GB post - a 1910 Half crown in the raw. These Edward VII half crowns, even the "common" 1910 date are hard to find nice with good strike, lustre, and appearance overall:

    Nice looking coin, but I don't see it getting anything above a 64.

    I'm gonna say it will grade 62. It's a 63 IMHO due to the chatter and then add the scratch from the corner of the mouth down through the beard to knock it to 62.

    whatever the number it is a very nice coin, especially for the type and period. I would be proud to add that to my English type set

    I agree with the likely 63 designation, but not 62. The pie plate blow up does no service, and the scratch at jaw is nearly unnoticeable in hand. The numerous contact marks are also a bit more prominent in the photos but my other similar half crowns are in the 63 range.

    Yes, I think so and what IMO would probably get it the 63.
