As a new member without a track record would you be willing to ship to a well established member here prior to payment? Unfortunately we occasionally get a scammer that sells here but doesn't deliver the merchandise after being paid.

I didn't even consider the quartz, too much work to get the gold out.

I don't believe it's been mentioned what % of his nuggets is quartz, or what the net assay might be, or how representative his stuff is, in terms of the % quartz , compared to the historical averages for Nome Nuggets or how Nome Nuggets are priced when the assay is unknown. Or are they graded like diamonds?

If that is the case, then he is asking 88% of spot for nuggets that are 75% pure. I don't have an opinion about whether or not that is a good deal, but my point is that his basis for pricing his stuff is unclear - at least to me.
How do you interpret his offer?
