  That one is pretty rough and only has value equal to silver content. You won't be doing any damage to experiment with it IMO.

  Sure looks like someone painted it and then the paint is wearing off or it was scrubbed off and with all the abrasions leaning toward the latter.

  Dipping experimentation as @ChrisH007 mentioned or use as a pocket piece... or give it away.
