Let's see your unopened pack player collections

I'm not really an unopened collector but I have enjoyed adding unopened packs to my Roger Staubach collection. I'm sure plenty of other player collectors are working on a full run of packs with their player showing. Let's see what you've put together, any sport.

I'll start with a few of my Staubach's:

Beautiful cellos, Kid. Here are my Mattingly and Greenwell cellos (and one important OPC wax). Now, if this thread is including racks, I have a broader story to tell. I'm not a big fan of cellos. Not sure why. The rack has always been more attractive to me.

Great stuff, Andy! I love the Mattingly's. The thread is open to racks and anything else you want to share, I just started with cellos. I personally prefer racks as well.

There's a 1978 Staubach PSA 9 on eBay. Time for an upgrade? I'll be sure to keep my eye out for the 1974 and earlier Staubach cellos.

Every time I look at a star player on the front of a cello my eyes always drift to the damaged corners. I can't seem to stop myself.

Pack grades don't matter to me, just happy to have them authenticated and protected.

Stephen, your 1979 box project is still one of my favorite collections I've ever seen! I picked up a couple of 79 racks at the National, was thinking of you. I hope you are well!

I don't collect these - tho there's quite a few rack packs in my collection with stars - no rookies.

I do have an 83T cello with Ryno on the back - can't find the scan.

This is a fun pack IMO - it's generally accepted but I wouldn't say 100% that a 79T rack pack with Cooper on top - underneath is an Oz waiting to be discovered.

Great Montana collection, thanks for sharing!

Jake, great adds to your Payton collection! Sorry I didn't get to see you in Chicago, I added another Staubach rack to my collection at the show as well.

Thanks! Yeah, Chicago was a whirlwind. Glad I was able to snag what I got- star cellos and racks were going fast! Nice 79 rack!

Is he visible on the front? If so, are you going to have it reslabbed do PSA can indicate that on the slab?

Opening up the field to racks, here's my ongoing Greenwell rack hoard.

The '87 Donruss showing 3 Greenwells is a fraud, but I bought it because, well, I collect Greenwell.

    More Mattingly? Okay.

And some of the Boggs that I have. There are other Donruss ones I have in the cases, but didn't want to dig for them. I could've sworn I had three '83 Fleer racks with Boggs, but my box is only showing two.

Here are some of the Pete Rose cellos I have tracked down over the years

The 1978 was my first slabbed cello bought from Steve Hart at the Chicago National in 2013. I now have over fifty Topps, Fleer, and oddball cellos.

I either have 85 topps or 86 topps (one of the two). Do you have all of those?

Those Gator racks are outstanding. I only have a few.

ETA: I'd love to find a Donruss rack with a red stripe showing.

    Hey Jim,

Hope you are doing well my friend. If I remember correctly, you got the 60 Topps cello with Drysdale on top as well, correct?

Seeing all the ‘87 Topps is fun - bet someone could complete a set of cello packs as a fun but bulky project - 792 cello packs - one with each card from the set on top.

A couple that I have pictures of
I know I have one with the Red Sox Team card on top too
I have often thought about completing a team set of cellos
    But...
