All first names must be Andy, Opie, Barney, Floyd, Emmitt, Otis, Howard, Gomer, Goober, Howard or Aunt Bee. ;)

Same name can be used more than once.

    Skin, I think you've confused the Ashby's; Alan was the catcher, Andy was a pitcher (so now you have a RHP). At catcher, I propose Andy Seminick, the catcher for the Whiz Kids. Other than that, nice list. I can't think of a first baseman, either.

    This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

    Well with the approval of the forum membership...I absentmindedly forgot to add Ernest T Bass to the list of names.

    With that, Ernie Banks gets the nod at first.
